How DSIP Works

DSIP is a unique neuromodulating peptide that can readily cross the blood-brain barrier. Rather than acting as a direct sedative or pharmacological hypnotic, DSIP functions as a regulatory adaptogen. It helps restore balance to disrupted physiological processes, particularly the sleep-wake cycle and the body’s hormonal response to stress:

• Promotes Slow-Wave (Delta) Sleep: DSIP selectively targets and increases the delta rhythm of the brain. In EEG research models, it enhances the duration and depth of slow-wave sleep (Deep Sleep) without disrupting the natural shifts between REM and non-REM cycles.
